QuickRx Specialty Pharmacy is a URAC- and ACHC-accredited nationwide specialty pharmacy dedicated to helping patients afford their nintedanib prescriptions. QuickRx dispenses generic nintedanib — the FDA-approved generic equivalent of Ofev — indicated for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), chronic progressive fibrosing interstitial lung diseases (ILDs), and systemic sclerosis–associated interstitial lung disease (SSc-ILD) in adults.
Generic nintedanib contains the same active ingredient at the same dosage strengths as brand-name Ofev (100 mg and 150 mg capsules), and is dispensed at a lower cost. As a high-cost specialty medication, even the generic can present a financial burden for patients on long-term treatment for progressive lung diseases. QuickRx provides free enrollment support and patient navigation to connect you with available savings options based on your insurance coverage and financial situation.
Our generic nintedanib financial support services include:
Our team works with patients covered by commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and those without insurance. QuickRx patient navigators are available to guide you through every step of the financial assistance process at no cost to you.

Commercially insured patients prescribed generic ofev may be eligible for copay card programs that can significantly reduce monthly out-of-pocket costs. QuickRx patient navigators verify your eligibility and manage the enrollment process on your behalf at no charge.
Patients without commercial insurance, or those whose government insurance does not cover the copay card benefit, may qualify for a patient assistance program providing nintedanib at reduced or no cost. Our team reviews your situation, identifies applicable programs, and manages the application process for you.
Several nonprofit foundations offer financial assistance for patients with IPF, progressive pulmonary fibrosis, and SSc-ILD. QuickRx patient navigators can identify and apply for additional funding sources when needed.

Without insurance or copay assistance, generic Ofev can cost over $10,000 per month. The standard dose is 150 mg twice daily. Brand-name Ofev costs more. It runs about $13,000+ per month. Your actual cost depends on your insurance, pharmacy, and assistance program.
| Medication | Strength | 30-Day Supply | Approx. Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Generic Ofev (nintedanib) (at QuickRx) | 150 mg capsules | 60 capsules | ~$10,000+ |
| Brand-name Ofev | 150 mg capsules | 60 capsules | ~$13,000+ |

Cash prices vary by pharmacy, dose, and region. Most insured patients pay much less. They use Ofev copay cards, nintedanib patient assistance programs, or foundation grants.
At QuickRx, no patient should skip Ofev because of cost. Eligible patients may pay $0 for their Ofev prescription. We help you apply for Ofev copay cards, foundation grants, and nintedanib patient assistance programs. Call (917) 830-2525 to find out what you qualify for.

Ofev (nintedanib) is an oral prescription drug. The FDA approved it for three lung conditions in adults.
Ofev does not cure these conditions. It does not reverse existing scar tissue. It works by slowing disease progression and protecting lung function.
You take Ofev (nintedanib) by mouth as a capsule. Take it twice a day, about 12 hours apart.
Follow your healthcare provider’s dosing instructions.
Diarrhea is the most common side effect of Ofev. Most patients get it. GI side effects are usually mild to moderate. They happen most often in the first 3 months of treatment.
Many patients keep loperamide (Imodium) on hand for diarrhea. Drink plenty of water. Talk to your healthcare provider about any side effect that worries you.
Yes. Ofev has important warnings. Discuss them with your prescriber before and during treatment.
This information is for learning only. Review all risks with your prescriber before starting Ofev.
Store Ofev capsules at room temperature.

IPF is a chronic lung disease. Scar tissue (fibrosis) builds up in the lungs. The cause is unknown. “Idiopathic” means the origin is unknown.
As lungs scar, they get stiffer. They cannot move oxygen into the bloodstream as well. Patients feel more breathless over time.
If you have IPF, work with a pulmonologist who specializes in interstitial lung diseases.
PPF describes a pattern of disease behavior. It is not one specific condition.
In PPF, scarring keeps getting worse despite treatment. This happens in chronic fibrosing interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) no matter the underlying cause.
Unlike IPF, PPF has a known cause. It can show up with:
When these ILDs keep getting worse and don’t respond to standard treatment, Ofev slows further lung function decline.
A pulmonologist manages PPF. They often work with a rheumatologist or another specialist.
SSc-ILD is a lung complication of systemic sclerosis (scleroderma). Systemic sclerosis is a rare autoimmune disease. It hardens the skin and connective tissues.
When systemic sclerosis hits the lungs, it scars and inflames lung tissue (ILD). This makes breathing harder over time.
SSc-ILD is one of the top causes of illness and death in systemic sclerosis patients. Ofev slows the decline of lung function in SSc-ILD. A rheumatologist and pulmonologist both manage this condition.
Do you have systemic sclerosis and take Ofev? QuickRx patient navigators help you get Ofev copay assistance. Call (917) 830-2525.
Yes. Ofev (nintedanib) has important drug interactions. Tell your healthcare provider and pharmacist about all medications, supplements, and herbal products you take.
QuickRx pharmacists review all drug interactions when we dispense your Ofev. Call (917) 830-2525 with any questions.
