How do I take Droxidopa?

It’s important to always take by mouth as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.

Are there any possible side effects of Droxidopa?

Serious Side Effects Include;

  • Confusion or fever
  • Fast, pounding, or uneven heartbeat
  • Swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet
  • Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
  • Blurred vision, severe headache, trouble breathing

What if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take the missed one as soon as you remember. However, if the missed dose is close to the time for your next scheduled dose, then skip the dose. Don’t take extra medicine to make up for missed doses. Never “double up” on your Droxidopa dose.
